Time for a new roof

The Hut has been around a long time and was in need of a new roof. After years of planning and raising funds, it was time to start hauling materials up the trail. The only way to get the supplies to the hut was to carry them up the trail. I helped carry a load of metal brackets weighing maybe 40 lbs. I rigged up a sling and wore it like guitar to carry it up the 3 mile trail to the hut.
