Nathalie's first trip up Baldy

Nathalie had never been up Mt. Baldy so I took her up for an overnight trip to the hut. We head up on Saturday and the weather was great. Here is a pic a bit past the trailhead.

We ditched our gear at the hut and headed to the summit where we took this pic.

We spent a bit of time on the summit and headed back to the hut for the night. There was another guy staying at the hut and he decided he needed to go for a beer run right before sunset. He never came back, so we had the hut to ourselves. We found out later he had a bad fall on the way down, but he was OK.
