Inside the Hut

If you have ever wondered what the inside of the ski hut looks like, these pictures may help give you an idea.

Upstairs there are several bunks that are 3 high, 2 wide, and 2 deep. The bunks will hold up to 12. There are also sleeping areas along the wall.

This is the main room of the hut.

The hut has been run for some time by the Sierra Club. They have work parties twice per year to maintain the hut plus they arrange for hosts to be there on weekends so others can stay at the hut. The hut is open to everyone, you do not need to be a member of the Sierra Club or any other club in order to use it. For more infomormation check this link.

Here is the kitchen complete with cold running water year round and a wood burning stove.

 

And finally the basement which is filled mostly with firewood and tools.
